Que Dat is a New Orleans–based team made up of friends from across the country, united by a shared commitment to supporting families fighting pediatric brain cancer. What began as a small group of friends cooking together has grown into a committed community effort—channeling our shared love of gathering, hosting, and taking care of people into something that makes a real difference.
Our primary work centers around Hogs for the Cause, one of the country’s most impactful fundraisers for pediatric brain cancer. Each year, teams from across the region come together to cook, compete, and raise critical funds for families facing one of life’s most difficult battles.
Beyond the festival, Que Dat hosts dinners, events, and collaborative fundraisers—bringing the warmth of New Orleans hospitality to cities across the country. Whether it’s a backyard crawfish boil, a chef-driven dinner, or a community gathering, our goal is simple: create moments that bring people together and convert them into support for families who need it.
At its heart, Que Dat is a group of people who believe in doing something good with the talents we have—cooking, organizing, showing up, and caring for our community. Every dollar we raise helps support families facing an unthinkably difficult journey.
Cook. Gather. Give. That’s what we do.
